We were finally able to get to Nick's and try their famous burger! We started out with a Bloody Mary and Yuengling beer. Our bartender Jen made it so delish and it came with bacon!Tried the Warm Pretzel Sticks and while we are not typically fans of mustard, this was honey mustard and we both liked it.On to the burger...we ordered the little Nick as the regular is a whole 1lb burger. They don't do fries so I re-lived my childhood and went with Andy Capp Cheddar Fries. The burger was cooked perfectly with grilled onions and with the pickles was definitely one of the best burgers I've had.Cute little place. They only accept cash, with signs everywhere and have an ATM inside.

This place has the biggest hamburger I've ever seen. This monster is 1 lb of beef and a challenge to finish. Cooked clean through no raw spots or overly chrispy edges. I'm attaching a picture of it. Had mine without cheese. I finished it and promptly went into a coma for 3 days. Beat this, it was 10.75 with chips. Pic of the menu as well. Place has limited offerings, but that burger was great.. the atmosphere is that of a local hangout bar. Lots of regulars. Opens at 11a and if it's a weekend get there at 11. Fills up fast after that. The service was great. Mel tends bar and serves you your food. I'm going back!!

A great little neighborhood pub with amazing food! Everyone raves about the burgers, and I agree. But my suggestion is that you get the grilled cheese with bacon added! Also, do not pass up the gravy bread! Thank me later :)

It's a great old school tavern that started in 1945. Original owner sold it but the current owners kept the same flare that had been there forever. Staff is great food is great music was great. Historic Lamont tavern that you should visit.

A cozy cash only pub with outstanding burgers. Seriously, it was an excellent burger that took me two sittings to finish. It’s quirky in that they don’t serve fries at all, just a variety of chips to pick from. Didn’t bother us at all as the burgers were so large we wouldn’t of had room to eat fries anyway. Prices were fair and we’ve been back to eat another two times since our initial visit.

Great local run restaurant. Burgers are not some frozen bland burger, but tasty hand made. Just remember there is no fries and it’s cash only here. Beers and food are very reasonably priced. I highly recommend.
